Cultivated for thousands of years in Asia, tea is the pioneer of traditional Chinese medicine. Known to *favour the renal elimination of water, to help drain the body, it contributes to the normal functions of elimination and promotes the excretory function of the kidneys. Tea also helps to slim or control weight when consumed as a supplement of a slimming diet. It stimulates lipid breakdown, metabolism and fat oxidation.

Mulberry leaves

In Asia, homeopaths have been using mulberry leaves as herbal remedies for thousands of years. In fact, the leaves have often been used to replace tea leaves in herbal teas to save money. For example, in Europe and China, blackberry leaves were fermented, as in black tea, to extract more flavour.

Rose petals 

The appearance of the first roses is said to date back more than 35 million years. No wonder she is now the queen of flowers. Roses are not only beautiful and fragrant, they are also used in aromatherapy and cooking!


The dandelion has medicinal properties that have been used since ancient Greece. The name of this plant, dandelion, is derived from the shape of its serrated leaves. Dandelion stimulates digestion. 


Originally from Paraguay, mate has become a traditional drink in South America. Mate is brewed in boiling water, like tea, poured into a mate bowl (calabash) and then consumed with a metal straw throughout the day. This plant was therefore exported to Europe for its medicinal properties, but also for its good taste!


Ginger, mainly grown in the hot and humid zones of Asia, has been used for over 5,000 years. It is used both for its culinary and medicinal properties, particularly in Indian Ayurvedic medicine. Indeed, *ginger helps support the body’s natural defences. It is particularly recognized for its significant antioxidant properties.
